Recap Foundation 1st UTP

Alhamdulillah, 4 bulan dah berlalu di Universiti Teknologi Petronas,
4 bulan yang tak dapat digambarkan dengan kata-kata
4 bulan yang cukup menguja
4 bulan yang terindah dikelilingi kawan-kawan baru

So let's recap what happened in these 4 short months.  I'll say short, swift and memorable.  Hopefully I can gain something beneficial from it :)

1) Minggu Aluan Siswa (MAS) - minggu pertama away dari rumah + dah memang tau takkan balik dalam jangka masa terdekat.  Facie yang sangat baik, tapi bila malam sangat suka marah :P  Terima kasih sebab ajar kami cara susun jadual & etc, minggu yang penuh memorabilia :)

2)1st Day of Academic Session - sesi rebut lab & tutorial!  Memang mengerikan bila mengenang rempuhan yang terpaksa dilalui + geng International yang tinggi menggunung.  Paling tak boleh lupa kisah Maro dirempuh segerombolan International..haha..cannot imagine this

3)Smart Group! - with Kak Anis Syahirah the bomb.  There are 11 of us, aku, Izzah, Hanim, Aten, Nad, Kak Fiza, Nabila, Farah, Efa,Mia & Malin.  Seriously, they rocks!  We're sort of a puzzle that completes each other. Somehow, when the upcoming semester starts, some of us will part our ways.
It'll be sad and bitter, but this is life, apa yang kita mampu buat ialah berdoa dari jauh agar sahabat kita berjaya & akan bertemu kembali kalau tak di dunia, di syurga nanti, InsyaAllah.
luv them ^^

4)  Rakan Masjid - sounds typical but I believe that this will be a kickstart for a better way of life.  I've been a very liberal person before, i have very radical opinion sometimes, and I want to change , InsyaAllah :)

5)  Friends - the best part of everything.
Jibah, Mardhiah maro, Haja, Maman, Malin, Tim, Nai, Mia, Nad, Najihah & many others.  Pertama kali merasai bestnya ukhwah kerana Allah.  Terima kasih sebab selalu melayan karenah aku yang bila stress akan jadi agak uncontrollable.

Terima kasih sebab teman joging (jalan pun boleh..) kat Oval Park,
Terima kasih atas nasihat + bebelan + leteran ..
Terima kasih sebab bagi tumpang tido malam sebab takut lepas dengar cerita hantu :P
Terima kasih sebab selalu ajak jemaah kat surau
Terima kasih sebab sedia memaafkan aku walau dah terbuat silap
Banyak gilerrlah lagi terima kasihnya, yang penting aku sayang korang
Asif jiddan andai ada terkhilaf
Biar sahabat sampai ke syurga nanti^^

But frankly, the time will come when we will part our ways, never hesitate, what we can do is to pray for the best, tak kiralah di Malaysia, Cairo, Aussie atau mana-mana ceruk dunia :)

6)  Lecture - di sini caffeine memainkan peranan penting.  Tido cukup pun tak guna kadang-kadang.  Semester ni minat aku lebih ke arah physics (chemistry & precalculus memang nak kena muhasabah banyak-banyak..ngee).  Terima kasih Dr. Hasnah, Dr. Isa & Sir Dennis
Foundie Chemy Jan '12 + Dr. hasnah

7) mistakes & reflection - I've learnt a lot this semester, about friendship, studies, survival, ikhtilat & many new things.  I've done mistakes, dan bila kena tegur dgn ayat Quran tu memang kaw-kaw laa.  My favourite 3:
Al Baqarah : 216
Hud : 101
Al-Hajj : 46
and I believe that I'll find many more next time.

8)Oval Park- yang ni tak boleh tinggal.  The place that my mind and soul can be at peace, content, refreshed.  Kalau jog lepas subuh memang owshem!

Cukup dah kot 8 point.  4 bulan yang sangat bermakna, sangat owshem, sangat mencabar, sangat menyentuh hati.

Moga diri ini terus kuat menempuh cabaran di bumi UTP,
Terima kasih sahabat,
Kenang daku dalam doamu :)

Reflections from Akademi Dakwah Muslimah

Alhamdulillah, I'm back after 6 months!  Completing my final year studies and finishing all the projects on time did really acquire me to make some sacrifices, my blogging time is one of it. Nevertheless, I've successfully graduated from UTP since the last two months and here I am now, back in Perlis.
Frankly saying, I think this is the longest period of my stay at home since I started my degree studies 5-years ago. Most of my semester breaks were spent doing SRC works, couple of Minggu Aluan Siswa (MAS) weeks and study related matter. For now, It's kinda payback time. 😂
Alhamdulillah, last weekend I attended Akademi Dakwah Muslimah at Tasoh Lake Resort, organized by Jabatan Mufti Perlis. The 2-day seminar covered 6 topics which I found to be very attentive and practical as a Muslimah. Being a student not from Islamic Studies background did give me the chills at first, however after a couple of hours listening intently to the speakers, I've gotten a good kicks…

Leap of Faith

Today I'm not going to talk about the leap of faith in Assassins Creed, which Cal (Michael Fassbender) attempted to save himself.

Google defines leap of faith as 'an act of believing in or attempting something whose existence or outcome cannot be proved'. In other words, to make a big decision which may have a big impact on one's life, with no guarantee whether it'll end up a success or a failure. It can be choosing between furthering your study and become an academician or enter the industrial world, getting married or changing the stream of your study. Some decisions may have a bigger impact in our lives, compared to the others.

This has been one of the longest period which I've stayed at home since the last 5 years. With the flexibility and ample of time in hand, post-graduation has really got me thinking. Somehow the transition between university life to the next phase isn't as fast and smooth-sailing as I've imagined. It's not like tod…

What Shall We Do on Fridays?

So, we have reached another Jumu'ah in 2017, we are getting closer and closer towards Ramadhan, the time has been flying faster than ever. Hopefully we can make everyday meaningful by being a productive and impactful Muslim, insyaAllah.
I'd like to share the inputs that I've learned (almost a year ago, now flipping the note pages) during an Ibrah Seminar on Surah Al-Jumu'ah by Ust. Syaari Abdul Rahman. Alhamdulillah, the seminar was very insighful, I attended this program with my beloved juniors Sakinah, Syera & Chad. We took a day-trip as Bangi and UTP is only a 2.5 hrs drive.
About Surah Al-Jumu'ah
- This is the 62nd surah in the Quran, consisting of 11 verses.  - It is positioned after Surah As-Saff and before Surah Al-Munafiqun. - A Madaniyah surah (meaning that this surah was reveled after the event of Hijrah - where Rasululullah saw and the sahabahs migrated from Mecca to Madinah).
What is Ibrah?
Ibrah is the lesson learnt that we can gain and emulate …
